Coming from a family background in ship repairs and marine engineering, over the last 45 years Alex, one of Australia's foremost shopping centre operatives and consultant has held management positions in national and international public companies such as, Lend Lease Investments, AMP Shopping Centres, Hooker Corporation, DTZ Debeham Tewson, Chesterton International, DJ Properties (David Jones Ltd), Safeway (Woolworths), Waltons Stores, Waltons Insurance, and, South China Architectural Design & Research Institute (Australia) Pty Ltd - Director.
Over the last 34 years Alex has conducted an international real estate, shopping centre & consulting business on major projects in Australia, Malaysia, China & India and with a history of involvement in industry and community organisations.

Dr. Iain Gray

Dr. Iain Gray is a world renowned and respected mega-project project manager, professional architect with extensive experience and expertise in planning, design, housing, and the construction industry since 1960.
Most recently Iain was Chief Foreign Architect and Master Planner for the prestigious South China Architectural Design & Research Institute, based in Guangdong China (SCADRI) with over 400 professionals in 10 cities across China. SCADRI was involved in the planning, design and construction management of more than 20 million sqm of buildings, which included eco-friendly resorts, office buildings, shopping centres, hospitals, hotels, industrial buildings, design and planning of whole communities in China and worldwide. Prior to SCADRI, Iain was Managing Director of KGT Technology, formerly Burchill and Partners (M0 Sdn Bhd) and lived and worked for more than 20 years in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. He headed the company’s domestic and international project division in charge of master planning. He worked as area Manager for Fluor, the US engineering company for more than 3 years, and as Senior Project Manager for ATCO Canada in Malaysia, Iraq, Kuwait, and Vietnam. During the period 1976-1990, Iain has been mainly self-employed, taking on assignments from major companies like ATCO and FLUOR including the construction of the massive USD 1.7 billion open cut coal mine, township, road, railway, and coal loading facility with FLUOR Australia, for MOUNT ISA MINES in Queensland Australia. He built a gold mine in Ghana for The BRIELEY Corp. of New Zealand and worked for government bodies including the United Nations. In Malaysia, Iain played important roles in the development of several multi-million-dollar integrated Tourist Resorts and Golf Courses including:
Iain prepared the Labuan Master Plan as well as the 1st Crossing proposal linking Malaysia to Sumatra. He was also involved in Malaysia’s new capital Putra Jaya, Sutera Harbour, Karam Bunai, Pantai Manis and Bikit Kinding Resort. Iain holds a Bachelor of Science in survey, a Bachelor of Science in Building Technology and Architectural Planning and Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in Tropical Low Cost Housing. |
